our overall marketing plan. Customer Satisfaction begins
long before move-in. Our desire is to make the shopping
experience, home selection, construction process, loan closing,
and move-in a most enjoyable experience.

This four page document is used by our Agents, Builders,
and Homeowners to inspect the entire home, inside and out
and room by room, prior to move-in to establish any areas
that may need special attention.
Our 2/10 Bonded Builders Warranty protects
our owner's investment for years to come with a two year
mechanical warranty and a ten year structural warranty.
This strong warranty is simple and straightforward. It creates
extra value and comfort by being transferable from one owner
to the next.

Bonded Builder Warranty
Virtually all of us are familiar with most common home
insurance coverages. What most of us have never heard of
are specialty products, which are unique to the building
industry. One of these is the Third Party Warranty which
provides protections to the builders but also contains protections
for you – the home buyer– because they specifically
cover voids in both the builder’s and the buyer’s
umbrella of protection.
The “All Risk” homeowner’s policy that
every homeowner carries is a very broad document. However,
it does not cover everything. “All-risk” policies
ignore insuring the builder’s warranty and providing
a neutral third party dispute resolution mechanism. And,
they specifically exclude 10 year protection against major
structural defects. Conversely, the Third Party Warranty
specifically provides protection in those three areas while
excluding broad based coverage…already found in “All-Risk”
policies.
What is equally unique to Third Party Warranties is that
they can only be purchased by the builder. Therefore, the
only way that a new home buyer can receive this protection
is if they buy a new home from an approved builder who participates
in a Third Party Warranty Program such as the Bonded Builders
Home Warranty Association.
During the first year of the warranty period, BBHWA warrants
that the covered unit will be free from defects in materials
or workmanship as defined in the Performance Standards (except
defects in appliances, fixtures and equipment which are
not covered by this warranty). Also covered are defects
in the electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, as defining
in the Performance Standards, including wiring, piping and
ductwork.
During the second year of the warranty period, BBHWA warrants
that the covered unit will be free from defects in electrical,
plumbing and mechanical systems, as defined in the Performance
Standards, including wiring, piping and ductwork.
During the ten year term of the warranty, BBHWA will repair
or replace a covered Major Structural Defect or pay the
home buyer the reasonable actual cost of repair or replacement.
Repair of major structural defect is limited to: the repair
of damage to load-bearing portions of the covered home,
which is necessary to restore its load-bearing ability and
the repair of damage to the load-bearing portions of the
covered home which make the home unsafe, unsanitary, or
otherwise unlivable.
